Start

Need more control with McNeel’s Rhino.Inside.Revit? Start the runtime to unlock the Rhino and Grasshopper vanilla experience.

What It Does

The Start command loads Rhino inside your Revit session. This is the first step before using any core Rhino or Grasshopper features in Revit.

Once started, you can:

  • Run Rhino directly in Revit, use Rhino modeling tools natively
  • Launch Grasshopper for parametric design

How to Use

  • Open Revit Project or Family document
  • Find the Senibina-Bridge ribbon tab
  • Click Start in the Core panel
  • Wait 3-5 seconds for initialization
  • The button updates when ready

That's it! Rhino is now running inside Revit.

What Happens After Start

Once initialization completes:

  • Rhino button becomes available (show Rhino window)
  • Grasshopper button becomes available (launch visual editor)
